New Delhi: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has stressed that capacity building of the mind, alongside skill development, is equally essential for India to remain globally relevant.
The Union Minister said that building national capacity requires the collective efforts of the government, private sector and society. He emphasised the need for greater collaboration among all stakeholders to strengthen India’s capabilities in research, innovation and emerging fields.
Dr. Jitendra Singh also called for creating a culture of philanthropy for research and innovation in India, underlining the importance of wider societal support in advancing the country’s scientific and technological ecosystem.
He said that sustained investment in knowledge, innovation and human potential will be crucial for India to strengthen its position on the global stage.
