Jammu, August 21: The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has sought requisite information regarding a representation for deployment to District Jammu on medical grounds.

In a communication dated August 12, 2026, the Administrative Department directed the Director, School Education, Jammu to furnish the pending information concerning deployment to District Jammu, either in JKBOSE, SCERT or Samagra Shiksha, on medical grounds.

The department stated that the information sought through its earlier letter dated January 29, 2026, was still awaited and directed that the requisite details be submitted within one week for further necessary action.

Subsequently, the Directorate of School Education Jammu, through a communication dated August 17, 2026, forwarded the Administrative Department's letter to all Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division, asking them to furnish the requisite details within two days positively.

The development is expected to facilitate further examination and necessary action on cases seeking deployment to District Jammu on medical grounds.
