Srinagar, August 23, 2026: The Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Office Bearers’ Meet commenced at Nowgam, Srinagar, with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking an auspicious beginning to the organisational gathering.
J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma CA addressed the gathering and outlined his vision for further strengthening the party organisation across Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasised the need for collective efforts towards building a developed, prosperous and empowered Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by senior BJP leaders, including Rajya Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma, along with other party office bearers and senior functionaries.
The State Office Bearers’ Meet is expected to deliberate on organisational strengthening, grassroots outreach and strategies for further consolidating the party’s presence across Jammu & Kashmir.
The gathering also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to working collectively towards development, progress and empowerment of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
