New Delhi, August 23, 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully concluded its participation in two major international air exercises—Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in Australia and Exercise Udara Shakti 2026 in Malaysia.

The dual-nation deployment highlighted the IAF’s operational reach, tactical capabilities and ability to coordinate effectively with international air forces. The engagements also provided valuable opportunities for participating forces to enhance interoperability, exchange operational experiences and strengthen joint tactical understanding.

The exercises reaffirmed India’s commitment to deepening defence cooperation and strategic partnerships with friendly countries across the Indo-Pacific region. Participation in such multinational engagements enables the IAF to operate in diverse operational environments while further enhancing its combat preparedness and professional expertise.

The successful completion of both exercises reflects the Indian Air Force’s growing international engagement and its commitment to strengthening cooperation with partner nations through joint training and operational activities.
