Pune, August 21, 2026: India and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of telecommunications and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The MoU was signed by Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and his Brazilian counterpart on the sidelines of the BRICS ICT Track Meeting held in Pune.
The agreement underlines the shared commitment of India and Brazil to advancing digital innovation, strengthening digital infrastructure and promoting technological cooperation, particularly in strategic and emerging areas of telecommunications and ICT.
The bilateral initiative is expected to provide a framework for greater collaboration between the two countries in emerging technologies and digital development, while further strengthening India-Brazil cooperation in the rapidly evolving telecommunications and ICT sectors.
