DSEJ Directs Government Schools to Submit Infrastructure Data for Planning and UDISE+ Reconciliation

Jammu, August 7: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has instructed all Government Higher Secondary Schools, High Schools, Middle Schools, and Primary Schools across the Jammu Division to submit updated school infrastructure data through a designated Google Form.
According to the circular issued by the Directorate, the data collection exercise is aimed at supporting UDISE+ reconciliation, infrastructure planning, resource allocation, identification of infrastructure gaps, and the effective implementation of developmental initiatives in government schools.
Heads of Institutions have been directed to ensure that all information entered in the Google Form is complete, accurate, and based on the latest status of their schools. The Directorate has also stressed that all infrastructure-related details must be verified before submission and that only one consolidated response should be submitted for each school.
The circular further states that any incorrect or incomplete information will be the responsibility of the concerned Head of Institution.
Chief Education Officers (CEOs) have been tasked with monitoring the submission process in their respective districts to ensure 100% compliance, while Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) have been asked to assist schools, verify submissions, and report compliance to the concerned CEOs. The Directorate has warned that any delay or non-submission will be viewed seriously.
