JAMMU, August 24, 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned additional charge of the post of Inspector General of Registration, J&K, to IAS officer Dr. Sagar Doifode (AGMUT: 2014).

According to Government Order No. 1438-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on August 24, 2026, Dr. Doifode, presently serving as Special Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department, will hold the additional charge of IG Registration, J&K, in addition to his existing duties.

Dr. Doifode is also holding additional charge of the posts of Mission Director, Holistic Development Agriculture Programme (HADP) and Jammu & Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP).

The order states that he will continue to hold the charge of Inspector General of Registration, J&K, till further orders.

The order has been issued in the interest of administration and by order of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
