Samba, August 15: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan, IAS, hoisted the National Flag at the Rani Suchet Singh Stadium, Samba, during the district-level celebrations of the 80th Independence Day.

The ceremony was marked by patriotic fervour, with the Tricolour unfurling ceremony followed by the National Anthem. Officials, security personnel, students, and members of the public participated in the celebrations and paid tribute to the nation’s freedom fighters and those who made sacrifices for the country.

The Independence Day programme showcased the spirit of patriotism and national unity, with cultural presentations and other activities adding to the celebrations.
