CM Omar Abdullah Approves Appointment of 42 Candidates Under J&K Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme



Srinagar, August 4: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has approved the appointment of 42 candidates in the Housing and Urban Development Department under the Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, 2022, reaffirming the government's commitment to providing compassionate support to eligible beneficiaries.

According to the Office of the Chief Minister, J&K, the appointments have been cleared under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, which aims to provide employment to eligible family members of government employees in accordance with the scheme's provisions. The decision reflects the government's continued focus on extending compassionate assistance to deserving beneficiaries while ensuring timely support to affected families.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the newly appointed candidates. He expressed confidence that the appointees would carry out their responsibilities with dedication, sincerity, and a strong sense of public service, contributing effectively to the functioning of the Housing and Urban Development Department.
