Budgam, August 14: In a major action against the illegal drug trade, Budgam Police have attached property worth approximately ₹10 lakh in connection with a case registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The action was carried out as part of the police’s ongoing efforts to disrupt the financial networks of drug traffickers and prevent proceeds of illicit activities from being used to further the narcotics trade.

Police said such measures are aimed at targeting the assets and financial resources of individuals involved in drug-related offences. The attachment has been undertaken in accordance with the provisions of law.

Budgam Police reiterated their commitment to intensifying the crackdown on drug trafficking and taking strict action against those involved in the illegal narcotics trade.
