Apni Party Shopian Organises Workers’ Meeting at Amberbuk Nagbal


Shopian, August 28: The Apni Party District Shopian unit on Thursday organised a workers’ meeting at Amberbuk Nagbal in the Zainapora Constituency. The meeting was presided over by Advocate Gowhar Hassan Wani, District President, Apni Party Shopian.

The meeting was attended by District Secretary Mohammad Irfan Bhat, District Joint Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh, Zainapora Constituency In-charge Azhar Wani, and Shopian Constituency In-charge Mohammad Yaqoob Malla, besides a large number of party workers.

More than 50 workers, including senior party members, old workers and several new faces, participated in the meeting. Discussions focused on strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level and addressing issues concerning the people and the constituency.

Addressing the gathering, Advocate Gowhar Hassan Wani called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and maintain continuous contact with the people. He emphasised that dedicated workers are the real strength of any political organisation and urged them to work with greater commitment and unity.

Wani also highlighted the policies and manifesto of the Apni Party, stating that the party remains committed to raising issues related to public welfare, development and the rights of the people.

Speaking on the prevailing political situation, he criticised the functioning of the National Conference-led government and said that Apni Party, as a responsible opposition, would continue to raise genuine public issues and hold the government accountable for its commitments and responsibilities.

The meeting concluded with a call to party workers to remain united, active and committed towards further strengthening the party organisation across the constituency.
