Reasi, August 18, 2026: Anganwadi workers and daily wagers staged a protest in Reasi, raising concerns over their employment conditions and demanding regularisation of all workers.

The protesters, carrying saffron flags and banners, raised slogans in support of their demands and sought government intervention to address issues faced by Anganwadi workers and daily-wage employees.

The protesters demanded that their long-pending concerns, particularly regarding regularisation of services, job security and better employment conditions, be addressed at the earliest.

The demonstration highlighted the concerns of workers who have been seeking greater employment security and recognition of their services. The protesters urged the administration and the government to take concrete steps towards resolving their demands.
