Billawar, August 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Billawar, Vishavjeet Singh, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of AgriStack registration across the Sub-Division and assessed the registration status along with field-level mobilization efforts.

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Billawar Surinder Singh, Tehsildar Lohai Malhar Anil Kumar, Tehsildar Ramkot Jeetinder Singh, BDOs, SDAO Billawar, HDO Billawar, AEOs and JAEOs.

During the meeting, the ADC directed all concerned departments to make concerted efforts to achieve maximum AgriStack registration within the stipulated timeframe. He asked the SDAO to deploy adequate field staff to mobilize farmers at registration camps being organized by the Revenue Department.

The BDOs were directed to ensure active participation of Panchayat-level functionaries in sensitizing farmers about the benefits of AgriStack and facilitating their enrolment.

Later, the ADC visited the AgriStack registration camp at Beril village in Block Billawar and reviewed the ongoing registration process. He interacted with officials and farmers and emphasized effective on-ground facilitation to ensure maximum participation of eligible farmers.

The ADC also visited HSS Palan, where he interacted with students and encouraged them to pursue their studies with dedication and contribute towards the development of the nation.

Vishavjeet Singh stressed that any laxity or lackadaisical approach in achieving the assigned targets would be viewed seriously. He directed all concerned officials to work in close coordination and complete the registration process in a time-bound manner.
