Jammu, July 20, 2026: A large protest was held in Jammu on Monday under the banner of the Jammu State Movement, with demonstrators demanding the creation of a separate Jammu State. Carrying the Indian national flag and raising slogans, protesters marched through the city, claiming that the Jammu region has faced long-standing neglect in terms of development, employment opportunities, administrative representation, and the allocation of resources.
