Kathua, June 9: The District Police Headquarters (DPH) Kathua has issued a transfer order for 11 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening policing and improving operational efficiency across the district.

According to Order No. 537 of 2026, issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Mohita Sharma (IPS), the officers have been transferred to various Police Stations (PSs), Police Posts (PPs), and Outposts with immediate effect.

Among the key transfers, PSI Yudhveer Sharma has been posted as In-Charge of Police Post Jakhole, while PSI Shiv Dutt has been assigned as In-Charge of Police Post Marheen. PSI Ankesh Kumar has been posted as In-Charge of Police Post Chadwal, and PSI Surjeet Singh has been transferred as In-Charge of Police Post Nagri.

Several officers have also been assigned Investigating Officer (I/O) responsibilities at Police Stations including Lakhanpur, Billawar, Basohli, and Kathua.

The order directs all transferred officers to relieve from their present postings and join their new places of posting immediately.
