Eighth Central Pay Commission to Visit Srinagar from June 1–4

Srinagar, May 1, 2026:
The Government of India has announced that the Eighth Central Pay Commission (8CPC) will visit Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir (UT), from June 1 to June 4, 2026 (Monday to Thursday).

According to an official notice issued on May 1, 2026, the Commission will engage with various stakeholders, including organizations and institutions of the Central Government, as well as representatives from the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory. Unions and associations interested in interacting with the Commission are invited to participate.

Stakeholders are required to first submit their memorandum through the official website of the Commission. After submission, they must apply for an appointment via the designated online form on or before May 16, 2026, along with the unique memorandum ID generated during submission.

The Commission stated that details regarding the venue and meeting schedule will be communicated at a later stage. Additionally, similar meetings will be आयोजित in other states and Union Territories in due course.
