Udhampur, April 20, 2026:

The Office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Udhampur, has issued a fresh directive to all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) regarding the submission of information on land donation cases under SRO-520.

As per the official communication, all cases related to mutated land in favour of the School Education Department from 31-12-2001 to 21-12-2017 must be thoroughly scrutinized. The CEO emphasized that these cases should strictly follow the prescribed checklist before submission.

The directive reiterates that all ZEOs must ensure proper verification of documents and attach duly completed checklists with each case. Any incomplete or deficient submissions will not be entertained by the department.

Officials have also been instructed to strictly adhere to guidelines and avoid any discrepancies at the time of submission. This move aims to streamline the verification process and maintain transparency in land-related matters within the education sector.

The order comes in continuation of earlier instructions issued on April 18, 2026, reinforcing the importance of compliance with SRO-520 regulations.
