The Directorate of Accounts & Treasuries, Finance Department Jammu, has issued an official order (No. 53–Accts of 2026) announcing a series of transfers, postings, and additional charge assignments of accountants across various departments in Jammu and surrounding districts.

According to the order, these administrative changes have been made in the interest of smooth governance and efficient functioning of departments.

Several key transfers include:

Mohd Shabir has been posted as Managing Director, Housing Board Jammu.

Ridhima Gupta has been assigned as Chief Pay & Accounts Officer, JKPDC Jammu.

Devinder Pal Singh has been appointed as Commandant SDRF 2nd Battalion, Jammu.

Naresh Kumar Sharma has been transferred to Deputy Director Audit & Inspection Jammu.

Parveen Kumar has been posted to Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).

Pawan Kumar has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba.

In addition, multiple officials have been given additional charges in various offices to ensure continuity of work until further orders.

The order also includes inter-departmental adjustments involving Excise & Taxation, Health, Education, Forest, Police, and Panchayat departments across Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Samba, Akhnoor, and Bhadarwah.

The directive has been issued with immediate effect and has been circulated to all concerned departments for compliance.
