Jammu, April 25, 2026:

The Jammu & Kashmir Police Headquarters, Jammu, has issued an official order (Order No. 1404 of 2026) announcing the transfer and posting of four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) in the interest of administration. The transfers have been ordered with immediate effect.

As per the official order:

Tahir Amin Sheikh (KPS125759) has been transferred from DSP DAR Jammu to SDPO Domana.

Dheeraj Singh Katoch (KPS125836) has been shifted from SDPO Border Kathua to DSP DAR Jammu.

Mudassar Hussain (KPS125805) has been transferred from SDPO Domana to DSP 4 JKAP.

Karan Kumar (EXJ006227) has been moved from DYSP CID CI Jammu (JIC) to SDPO Border Kathua.

The order further states that the officer at Serial No. 3 will assume the new posting after completion of earned leave. Meanwhile, the post of DSP 4 JKAP will remain attached with the office of SSP Jammu for salary purposes during the leave period.

All officers have been directed to be relieved immediately. The order has been issued with the approval of the Director General of Police (DGP), J&K.
