Koulpur, Samba:
An AYUSH Awareness Camp was successfully organized at Koulpur as part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, aiming to promote a drug-free society and raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
The camp witnessed active participation from local residents, students, and health officials. Experts from the AYUSH department delivered informative awareness lectures, highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the role of traditional systems of medicine in preventing addiction.
A yoga session was also conducted during the event, encouraging participants to adopt holistic practices for physical and mental well-being. The session focused on stress management and natural healing techniques, which are crucial in combating drug dependency.
To further spread the message, a public awareness rally was organized in the area, where participants raised slogans advocating a drug-free society. Additionally, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) material and essential medicines were distributed among the attendees.
The initiative reflects the government’s continued commitment to eradicate drug abuse and promote wellness through AYUSH practices. Locals appreciated the efforts and called for more such programs in the future.
