8th Central Pay Commission Schedules Key Interactions in Delhi

New Delhi, April 11, 2026:
The Government of India has announced that the Eighth Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) will hold crucial interaction sessions with various unions and associations in the national capital from April 28 to April 30, 2026.
According to an official notice issued by the Commission, these meetings aim to gather inputs, suggestions, and representations from stakeholders regarding pay structure, allowances, and service conditions of central government employees.
Interested unions and associations willing to participate in the interaction are required to first submit their memorandum through the official website (8cpc.gov.in). After submission, applicants must send a request for an appointment via email before April 20, 2026, along with the unique memorandum ID generated during the submission process.
The Commission has stated that detailed information regarding the venue and exact meeting schedule will be communicated later.
Additionally, officials confirmed that similar interaction meetings will also be conducted in Delhi and other states in the coming months to ensure wider consultation.
The move is seen as a significant step towards inclusive decision-making as the 8th Pay Commission begins its work to revise salary structures for central government employees.
