Samba, March 18, 2026:
In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Samba Police has attached a pucca residential house worth approximately ₹39.58 lakhs belonging to a notorious drug peddler, Masoom Ali alias Kala, son of Dulla, resident of Rakh Barotian, Tehsil Vijaypur, District Samba.
The action was taken under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act as part of the police’s sustained efforts to curb the menace of drug trafficking in the region.
According to officials, the attached property was identified as illegally acquired during the course of investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the property was procured through illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
It is noteworthy that the accused, Masoom Ali alias Kala, is a habitual drug offender and was also booked under the PITNDPS Act in 2025. He is currently lodged in District Jail Udhampur.

This decisive action reflects the strong commitment of Samba Police to dismantle drug networks by targeting illegally acquired assets and sending a stern message to drug offenders.
The operation was carried out by a special team led by SHO Police Station Vijaypur, under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and overall supervision of SSP Samba.
