Jammu & Kashmir has received a major financial boost as ₹5,000 crore in additional central assistance has been allocated to the Union Territory.
J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their support.
In a statement shared on social media, Omar Abdullah thanked the central leadership for providing timely financial assistance, emphasizing that the funds would play a crucial role in boosting development across the region.
He stated that the additional support would help strengthen infrastructure projects, accelerate development initiatives, and improve public welfare throughout Jammu & Kashmir.
