The Office of the Assistant Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Poonch has issued a public notice informing citizens that sufficient stock of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is currently available in the district.

According to the notice, the department has received reports that some consumers are facing issues related to the availability and timely home delivery of LPG cylinders. To address these concerns and ensure smooth distribution of LPG cylinders, the department has assigned Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) to monitor specific LPG agencies across the district.

The authorities have also advised the public that in case of any grievance related to LPG supply, booking, or home delivery, consumers can contact the concerned nodal officers responsible for monitoring the LPG agencies.

The monitoring responsibilities have been assigned to officials including Sh. Manmohan Lal, Sh. Ayaz Ahmed, and Sh. Mushtaq Ahmed, who will oversee various LPG agencies operating in the district such as Star Gas Agency Poonch, Kohli Gas Agency Poonch, Gramin Indane Gas Agency Mandi, Shaheed Manzoor Gas Agency Mendhar, Youghal Bharat Gas Agency Mendhar, Indane Gas Agency Surankote, and Indane Gas Agency Buffliaz.

The department has directed all LPG agencies to ensure strict adherence to the home delivery roster and maintain proper delivery records. Agencies have also been instructed to ensure that consumers do not face inconvenience during the distribution process.

The public has been urged to cooperate with the authorities to maintain smooth, transparent, and hassle-free distribution of LPG cylinders throughout the district.
