The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a reminder to all Chief Education Officers regarding the submission of information related to Contractual/Academic Arrangement Lecturers (10+2) for their regularization under the Special Provision Act 2010.

According to the official communication dated 05 March 2026, the Directorate clarified that an earlier reference to Government Order No. 103-Edu of 2003 dated 31 July 2023 was made inadvertently. The correct reference is Government Order No. 1301-Edu of 2003 dated 31 July 2003.

The Directorate has directed the concerned offices to furnish the required information within two days strictly in accordance with the corrected government order.

Subsequently, the Office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Pulwama, forwarded the communication to the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) for necessary action. The CEO office has requested that the required details, both hard and soft copies, be submitted within one day for onward submission to the concerned authorities.

Officials emphasized that the information is essential for processing matters related to the regularization of contractual lecturers appointed under academic arrangements in the education department.

The directive aims to ensure timely compliance and proper documentation for further administrative action regarding the regularization process.
