During the meeting, officials discussed various strategies to integrate skill development with the education system so that students can acquire practical and industry-relevant skills at an early stage.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need to strengthen industry linkages, expand technical and short-term training programmes, and create more opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship across Jammu and Kashmir.
He also stressed that a strong skill development framework would help the youth gain the capabilities required for modern industries and contribute to economic growth in the region.
The initiative is expected to provide sustainable career pathways and promote entrepreneurship, enabling young people to participate actively in the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
