During the event, the Chief Minister unveiled several publications related to startups and agriculture, highlighting the government’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
Omar Abdullah also felicitated outstanding startups and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) for their contribution to promoting sustainable agriculture and agri-business in the region.
In a major step to strengthen farmer support services, the Chief Minister e-launched 808 Kisan Khidmat Ghars across Jammu and Kashmir. These centers aim to provide farmers with easier access to agricultural services, expert guidance, and modern farming technologies.
The initiative is expected to empower farmers, promote agri-entrepreneurship, and enhance agricultural productivity across the Union Territory while encouraging youth to explore opportunities in the agriculture sector.
