The Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu has issued an official order regarding the allotment of districts to candidates belonging to the Kashmir Zone who were selected in the final list for the post of Constable (Executive Police) in Jammu Division.
As per the order, 84 candidates from the Kashmir Zone have been allocated districts in Jammu Division for the issuance of formal appointment orders. The decision has been taken in continuation of earlier correspondence and selection procedures.
According to the official communication, the candidates have been distributed across three districts—Kishtwar, Ramban, and Reasi—based on a structured allocation system.
The breakup of candidates from various home districts includes:
Anantnag – 13 candidates
Budgam – 14 candidates
Bandipora – 2 candidates
Baramulla – 8 candidates
Kupwara – 16 candidates
Ganderbal – 2 candidates
Kulgam – 17 candidates
Pulwama – 8 candidates
Shopian – 2 candidates
Srinagar – 2 candidates
The respective district authorities have been directed to issue formal appointment orders to the selected candidates after completing all necessary formalities as per the guidelines.
Officials have also been instructed to inform the selected candidates through concerned police stations.
