New Delhi, February 16, 2026: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 650 Assistant posts across various offices in the country. The online application process has commenced and eligible candidates can submit their forms through the official website.
According to the notification, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and fall within the prescribed age limit of 20 to 28 years, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, including a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The preliminary exam is expected to be held in April 2026, followed by the main examination in June 2026.
Interested candidates are advised to complete the online registration process before the last date mentioned in the official notification. RBI has clarified that applications will be accepted online only, and no other mode of submission will be entertained.
The recruitment drive is expected to attract a large number of aspirants seeking a career in India’s central banking institution.
