Jammu, February 17: A massive protest was organized by Panthers India against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and alleged corrupt officials. Thousands of supporters gathered in large numbers, raising slogans and marching through the streets to express their anger over what they described as rising corruption and administrative failures.
Led by senior party leader Harsh Dev Singh, the demonstration witnessed a significant turnout of party workers and local residents. Protesters carried party flags and placards while demanding accountability from BJP leaders and strict action against officials accused of corruption.
During the protest, speakers criticized the government for what they termed as misgovernance and failure to address public grievances. They alleged that corruption has increased under the current administration and called for immediate corrective measures.
The protesters specifically demanded the resignation of BJP leaders, holding them responsible for the prevailing situation. They warned that if their demands are not addressed, the agitation would be intensified in the coming days.
The rally remained largely peaceful, with participants marching in an organized manner under the supervision of party leaders.
Panthers India reiterated its commitment to continue raising public issues and pressing for transparency and accountability in governance.
