JKSSB to Conduct Videography and Photography During OMR Exams from March 2026
Jammu, February 24, 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an official notice announcing that videography and photography will be conducted during upcoming OMR-based examinations scheduled from March 2026 onwards.
According to the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, Reyaz Ahmad Malik (JKAS), the decision has been taken as part of enhanced security and surveillance measures to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process.
Videography Inside Examination Hall
The Board informed that photographs and/or videography of all candidates will be undertaken inside the examination hall during the conduct of the examination.
This step aims to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and prevent any kind of malpractice during the OMR examinations conducted by JKSSB.
Admit Card Must Be Clearly Visible
As per the notice, each candidate will be required to clearly hold his/her Admit Card while the photograph or video is being captured by the deployed videographer.
Candidates are advised to carry a clear and legible printed copy of their Admit Card to the examination centre to avoid any inconvenience.
Candidates Must Cooperate
All candidates have been directed to fully cooperate with the invigilation staff to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the examination.
