Induction Held in Presence of Harsh Dev Singh
Udhampur, Feb 23: In a significant political development in Udhampur district, hundreds of workers and supporters resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and formally joined the Panthers Party during a joining programme held here today.
The event was conducted in the presence of senior Panthers Party leader Harsh Dev Singh, who welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. Addressing the gathering, Singh said that the growing support reflects the people’s trust in the party’s vision and commitment towards safeguarding the interests of Jammu region.
The newly inducted members expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of their former party and said they were impressed by the policies and leadership of the Panthers Party. They assured full support to strengthen the party at the grassroots level across Udhampur and adjoining areas.
Harsh Dev Singh reiterated that the Panthers Party would continue to raise issues concerning unemployment, development imbalance, and protection of regional identity. He called upon party workers to remain united and work collectively to address public grievances.
The joining programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local leaders, youth activists, and supporters, marking what party leaders described as a “major boost” ahead of upcoming political engagements in the region.
