Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, today handed over computer systems to Government Middle School Saras Kastigarh (Zone Bhagwah) with the objective of promoting digital literacy, enhancing ICT-based learning, and bridging the digital divide in rural schools of the district.
The initiative forms part of the district administration’s sustained efforts to strengthen digital infrastructure in government schools and provide students with improved access to modern educational tools. By integrating technology into classroom teaching, the administration aims to enhance learning outcomes, foster innovation, and equip students with essential digital skills necessary in today’s technology-driven world.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the growing importance of digital education in a rapidly evolving global landscape. He reiterated the commitment of the district administration to ensure equitable access to quality education, particularly in remote and rural areas of the district.
The school staff and students expressed gratitude to the district administration for the timely support, describing the initiative as a significant step towards building a more inclusive and technology-enabled learning environment in Doda district.
The move is expected to further strengthen ICT-based education and encourage students to actively engage in digital learning platforms.
