Garend Kharud, February 17:
Former minister and senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Aga Syed Mahmood Mosavi, visited Garend Kharud to review ongoing and proposed developmental works under the Roads & Buildings (R&B) Department.
During his visit, Aga Mahmood inspected the site and held a detailed discussion with the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the R&B Department regarding the progress of works that were earlier taken up with the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
He directed the department to take up all inner link roads of Garend Kharud on priority to improve road connectivity for the local residents. Emphasizing the need for quality infrastructure, Aga Mahmood instructed officials to ensure proper GSB (Granular Sub-Base) laying and complete macadamization (metalling) of the roads to guarantee durability and long-lasting connectivity.
He stated that strengthening inner road networks is essential for easing transportation difficulties and boosting overall development in rural areas. The local residents welcomed the visit and expressed hope that the works would be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Aga Mahmood reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring better infrastructure and development across the constituency.
