Jammu and Kashmir:- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar on Monday presided over a review meeting on health initiatives at the Urban Primary Health Centre Nishat Khanyar.
The meeting focused on assessing existing healthcare facilities and accelerating improvements in primary healthcare delivery across the area. Discussions were held on strengthening infrastructure, addressing gaps in services, and ensuring better access to quality healthcare for local residents.
MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar also attended the meeting and participated in deliberations aimed at enhancing healthcare services at the grassroots level.
During the meeting, Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar announced the release of ₹30 lakh from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for major upgradation works and procurement of essential medical machinery. The funds will be utilized for various Primary Health Centres (PHCs) at Nishat, Harwan, and Theed.
The allocated amount is aimed at strengthening healthcare infrastructure, enhancing diagnostic capacity, and improving overall patient care, ensuring that quality medical services reach people at the grassroots level in the Khanyar and adjoining areas.
