Samba, December 19, 2025: Continuing its crackdown on illegal mining activities, Samba Police seized five dumpers being used for illegal transportation and mining of construction material within the jurisdictions of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal.
The action was taken by police teams led by the SHO Police Station Ghagwal, Incharge Police Posts Supwal and Mansar of Police Station Samba, and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of Police Station Ghagwal during routine patrolling in their respective areas.
The seized dumpers bear registration numbers JK21C-2988, JK02CG-2974, JK21G-6049, JK21D-9880, and JK21G-7597. All the vehicles were found involved in illegal transportation and mining of construction material.
Following the seizure, the vehicles were handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action as per law.
