Samba, December 12, 2025: In a continued crackdown on illegal mining activities, Samba Police have seized six dumpers from the jurisdictions of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal. The vehicles were allegedly being used for the illegal transportation of construction material.
Police teams led by SHO Ghagwal, along with the incharges of Police Posts Supwal, Rakh Amb Talli, and Rajpura, intercepted the vehicles during routine patrolling. The seized dumpers bear registration numbers JK02CT-9433, JK21A-8872, JK02AT-6287, JK14D-9133, JK08F-1273, and JK21G-7817.
All vehicles have been handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal proceedings as the police intensify efforts to curb illegal mining in the region.
