Chenani, Dec 04: A new 9-kilometre road project from Jakh to Serisu under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) was inaugurated today. The project has been sanctioned at an estimated cost of ₹20 crore and aims to significantly improve road connectivity for residents of the region.
Local representatives and officials were present during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The road is expected to enhance transportation facilities, ease travel challenges for villagers, and boost economic development by improving access to markets, schools, and health services.
Residents expressed gratitude, hoping the new road would transform daily commute and support overall development in the Chenani area.
