Srinagar, December 07: Hon’ble MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar, today inaugurated major road upgradation projects worth ₹42 lakh in Bagh-e-Roop Singh and Riyazteng, Khalifapora, falling under the Khanyar constituency. The works have been undertaken as part of the annual plan recommended by MLA Khanyar, Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar.
The road projects aim to improve connectivity, ease public movement, and enhance overall infrastructure facilities for local residents. Officials from the R&B Department and public representatives were present during the inauguration.
In addition, an amount of ₹8.30 lakh has been sanctioned for the installation of new water supply pipelines, benefiting nearly 400 households by ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted drinking water supply.
Residents expressed gratitude to the elected representatives for addressing long-pending demands and strengthening development initiatives in the constituency.
