Honourable MLA Banihal–Gool, Sajjad Shaheen, today laid the foundation stone for four major road projects in Sumar and Gool areas, sanctioned under PMGSY-IV. The projects include Meghdar–Moranch Road, Gamnog–Nakka via Jawari Road, Gagarsula–Gundi Dharam Road, and Gagra–Naka Road, with a cumulative cost of ₹88.24 crore.
Shaheen also laid the foundation stone for a new Panchayat Ghar at Manjhal, Harog, to be constructed at a cost of ₹29.24 lakh.
In addition, he inaugurated the 3 km Ghamari Road built at an estimated cost of ₹12 crore, and the Harra to Nakka Road constructed under the NABARD scheme at an estimated cost of ₹5.23 crore.
He was accompanied by DDC Chairperson Ramban Dr. Shan, JKNC District President Ramban Abid Magrey, Haji Gulzar Shan, District Vice President Tosha Singh, M. Rafi Salaria, Block President Mohd Sultan Mughal, Youth Block President Mohd Ashiq, and other senior leaders and officers.
