Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir:
Hon’ble Peerzada Feroz Ahmad, MLA Devsar, today chaired a District Level Review Meeting of all line departments to assess winter preparedness of essential services in Kulgam district, with special focus on the Devsar Constituency, ahead of the approaching harsh winter and possible inclement weather conditions.
During the meeting, the MLA took stock of arrangements related to power supply, drinking water, healthcare services, road connectivity, snow clearance, ration distribution and other critical services to ensure uninterrupted facilities for the public during winter months.
The MLA also reviewed the progress of ongoing and completed developmental works sanctioned under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and various other government schemes. He stressed the need for timely completion of works, transparency in execution, and efficient utilization of funds for public welfare.
Officers of different departments briefed the meeting about their preparedness and assured full coordination to tackle winter-related challenges. The MLA urged all departments to remain proactive and responsive to public needs during the winter season in Kulgam.
