Kishtwar, December 04, 2025:
The District Level Implementation Committee, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), convened today to review and assess applications submitted under Mission YUVA, a key initiative aimed at promoting youth entrepreneurship and livelihood opportunities.
A total of 45 proposals were presented before the committee, which included 43 Nano Enterprises, 01 MSME, and 01 proposal for Acceleration of Existing Entrepreneurship. All applications had undergone verification by the Small Business Development Units prior to submission.
The committee evaluated the eligibility, viability, and socio-economic backgrounds of the applicants. Following detailed examination, all 45 cases were approved for financial assistance and handholding support.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs and strengthening local economic development. He directed the AD Employment to immediately forward all approved cases to the banking institutions to ensure timely processing.
DC Kishtwar also urged banks to expedite loan sanctioning and disbursement and to provide continuous guidance to beneficiaries for successful business growth.
He reiterated that Mission YUVA is playing a pivotal role in fostering self-reliance and generating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the youth in Kishtwar.
