UDHAMPUR, DECEMBER 06: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, today felicitated two young Taekwondo champions and congratulated their coaches and support staff for their remarkable performance at the national level.
Shivansh Rajput (U-19 Boys, 45 kg) and Mohit Anthal (U-19 Boys, 55 kg) showcased exceptional skill and determination to clinch gold medals at the 69th National School Games 2025 Taekwondo Championship held in Jammu.
Their outstanding achievement has brought great pride to Udhampur district while strengthening its growing reputation in sports, particularly in Taekwondo.
The Deputy Commissioner applauded the dedicated efforts of the District Udhampur Taekwondo Association, Sidharth Taekwondo Academy, and the Department of Youth Services and Sports for their continuous support in nurturing young talent. She said the success of Shivansh and Mohit will serve as a motivation for aspiring athletes across the district.
Special appreciation was also extended to Master Atul Pangotra for his expert training, guidance, and unwavering commitment in shaping these young champions.
