Mira Sahib, December 30:
A car carrying four to five passengers plunged into the Mira Sahib canal on Tuesday, causing injuries to several occupants.
According to initial reports, the vehicle lost control and fell into the canal under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained. Local residents rushed to the spot and informed the authorities. Rescue teams and police reached the scene promptly and carried out rescue operations.
The injured persons were pulled out of the canal and shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
