𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗔𝗣

Budgam, December 30, 2025:

Budgam Police organised a Volleyball Knockout Tournament under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) with the aim of promoting sports, discipline, and positive youth engagement. Teams from across Sub-Division Magam participated with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

The matches were held at Boys Higher Secondary School, Magam and the final was played between Dangerpora Magam and Goomahmadpora Magam, in which Dangerpora Magam emerged victorious to clinch the tournament title.

The concluding event was graced by SDPO Magam, Shri Mohammad Ashrif (JKPS), as Chief Guest. While interacting with the players, he highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.

The winning and runner-up teams were awarded trophies, cash prizes, and certificates. The initiative was widely appreciated by locals and civil society members, who commended Budgam Police for engaging youth through constructive activities.
