Udhampur, December 06: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Udhampur, Jugal Kishore, today chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation status of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0 in the district.
During the meeting, the ADDC conducted a comprehensive review of the progress made under the scheme, including the ongoing survey process, beneficiary verification, and validation by Urban Local Body (ULB)–level committees. He also evaluated the overall timeline of implementation and urged officials to ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
The ADDC carried out a detailed municipality-wise assessment of the applications received from eligible households and sought updates from the concerned officers. He stressed the need for complete transparency and accountability at every stage of implementation, directing officials to expedite the disposal of pending cases.
Emphasizing the importance of timely assistance to applicants, the ADDC instructed officers to provide full support and proper guidance to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the housing scheme.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, Tehsildars, and Executive Officers of the Municipal Council/Committees of Udhampur, Ramnagar, and Chenani.
