Samba, November 29, 2025: In a continued crackdown on illegal mining activities, Samba Police on Saturday seized five dumpers involved in the unlawful transportation of construction material within the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba.
According to officials, police teams led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Samba and the Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli were conducting routine patrolling in their respective areas when they intercepted the vehicles engaged in illegal mining and material transportation.
The seized dumpers bear registration numbers JK21F-8607, JK08D-9373, JK08P-8799, JK21G-6049, and JK21-9073.
Police confirmed that all five vehicles have been handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal proceedings.
Samba Police reiterated their commitment to act strictly against offenders involved in illegal mining and urged the public to cooperate by reporting such activities to the nearest police station.
