New Delhi, Nov 13: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Thursday strongly condemned the recent blast in Delhi and clarified that it is “unfair and wrong” to label all residents of Jammu & Kashmir as terrorists.
Reacting to the ongoing investigation into the explosion near the Red Fort, the CM said that only “a few misguided individuals” are responsible for disturbing peace, while the vast majority of J&K’s people are peace-loving citizens.
He appealed to the public and media to avoid generalisations that may create mistrust or defame the entire region. The CM emphasised that the administration is fully cooperating with central agencies to identify and arrest those behind the blast.
Security agencies have intensified raids across J&K and other states after early clues suggested a wider network may be involved. The CM reiterated that strict action must be taken against the culprits but warned against targeting innocent people based on regional identity.
He added that such incidents will not weaken the unity of the country and that peace efforts in J&K will continue without interruption.
