LOP Sunil Sharma Attends Mega Eye Camp ‘Op Drishti’ at Command Hospital, Northern Command Udhampur

Udhampur, November 23 — Leader of the Opposition Sunil Sharma attended the mega eye camp ‘Op Drishti’ organised at the Command Hospital Northern Command, Udhampur, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha.

The four-day medical initiative aimed to extend critical eye care services to the community, with a special focus on veterans, Veer Naris and civilians. The camp featured a team of highly skilled eye surgeons from Army Hospital Research & Referral (AHRR), New Delhi, who performed cataract surgeries and conducted comprehensive eye screenings to benefit hundreds of patients.

During the event, LoP Sunil Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army, acknowledging their unwavering dedication, sacrifices, and commitment to national integration. He praised the Army for fostering an atmosphere of sustainable peace, which continues to drive holistic development in Jammu & Kashmir and significantly contribute to the nation’s growth.

Sharma noted that such healthcare initiatives reaffirm the Army’s compassionate approach toward society, reflecting its service beyond the call of duty.
