Budgam, November 17:
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat (IAS), today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing works under District Capex 2025–26, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and the UT Sector.
During the meeting, the DDC stressed the need for accelerating the execution of developmental projects, ensuring that all departments meet their physical and financial targets within the stipulated timelines. He directed officers to maintain transparency, effective coordination, and timely completion of all works to ensure quality outcomes on the ground.
The review meeting was attended by senior district officers, Superintending Engineers (SEs), ACD/ACP, BDOs, and officials from Municipal Committees, who presented department-wise progress and shared updates on ongoing initiatives.
Dr. Bhat urged the officers to remove bottlenecks, expedite tendering and execution processes, and ensure that all flagship schemes are implemented efficiently for the benefit of the public. He also reiterated the administration’s commitment to delivering development with speed and accountability across Budgam district.
